You do not have to use everything on this page. Think of it as a menu. Take what is helpful, leave what is not, and come back to it over time.

If you are feeling flooded, anxious, or disconnected, you do not need to use the whole page. Start with one of these three simple steps.
Box breathing
Box breathing is a simple way to signal safety to your nervous system.
- Breathe in through your nose to a slow count of 4
- Hold your breath for a count of 4
- Exhale through your mouth to a count of 4
- Pause with empty lungs for a count of 4
Repeat this cycle 4 times. If counting to 4 feels like too much, use a count of 3. If you feel light-headed, return to your natural breath and rest.
Grounding practice
Engaging your senses brings you out of “fight or flight” and into the present moment, reducing stress.
- Look around and name 5 distinct objects you see
- Notice 4 things you can physically feel
- Draw your attention and notice 3 things you hear
- Breathe in and notice 2 things you smell
- Focus on 1 taste
You do not have to change anything. Simply notice, name it quietly to yourself, and breathe.

How to use alongside coaching
Coaching is a live, real-time space to think out loud, feel what is present, and design next steps together. You can think of this page as a companion to our conversations. You might use it to:
• Try a short practice in between sessions when you are feeling stuck or anxious
• Capture insights in a journal after a coaching call
• Explore breath or somatic tools before a big conversation, interview, or transition moment
If we are working together, you are welcome to bring anything you try from this page into our sessions. We can unpack what you notice, what feels helpful, and what does not.
